Who are we?
We are a group of students from the University of Waterloo and Conestoga College. Over the years we have fixed hundreds of computers, working at local computer stores and Best Buy, all the way up to tech support at AGS Automotive and maintaining supercomputers at the University of Toronto.
What do we do?
If you are having any trouble with your computer, we can help you. Our goal is to show the big box stores how it should be done, and get your computer running as well as is possible. If we are not qualified to do the job, we will find you the best person/company available to do it for you. The primary services that we provide are:

How will it work?

Basic Maintenance
F1xed provides flat rate service for any problem your computer might have, plus (if necessary) the cost of parts. For $50 we will remove viruses and spyware, do hard drive reformatting and/or install a new operating system, troubleshoot possible hardware problems and install required replacements. We will also work to recover lost data, but with the disclaimer that we cannot guarantee that data recovery will be completely successful.

Computer Construction
F1xed will build a customized computer to suit your needs. First, one of us will sit down with you and discover what you need from your new computer---do you just browse the web and check your email, or are you a serious gamer? Once we've established what you need, we will get your parts together and construct your computer. For this service, we do require a deposit of 25% of the final cost of your new computer

Tutorials
If you wish, for a small additional cost, we will sit down and walk through the process of fixing your computer. All of us at F1xed believe that a higher overall level of computer ability is important in this day and age, and would like to help you learn more about your computer.

In-Home Service
Another addition we offer to the basic service is in-home work. A F1xed representative will come to your place of residence to solve your computer woes. Using this method, we can solve the problem as long as it doesn't require a new part.

Computer Pick-Up
If you would prefer, we can also retrieve your computer from your house and perform our work at our permanent location, and then return it when we are done. This will allow us to perform any necessary actions to solve the problem.
